Condolences

Condolence From: Deborah Dennison
Condolence: I knew of and admired Ms. Max's work and really commend her for her dedication. I just read that she brought over 3000 cats for veterinary treatment over the years. That's amazing. What a good soul.

I read the times of the service after the fact - very sorry I missed because I intended to pay my respects.

May you rest in peace.

Condolence From: Bogdan Klinkosz, DVM Lakeland Animal Clinic, Inc.
Condolence: Dorothy Max was a woman who carried the world on her shoulders. She was dedicated, motivated and had a true understanding of unconditional love for her cats and if you let her, for people as well. I got to know her 16 years ago and after long days in the practice when I would feel sorry for myself, I thought of Dorothy, the fragile little lady who dove into snow drifts and crawled under mobile homes to feed her cats, and never ever complained about her work. Despite her ailing heart, she would hold off going to the hospital until she knew she had no choice and even then she would sign herself out as soon as she could walk, so she could go back on the road to feed and take care of her furry friends. Over the years our veterinary hospital helped over 3000 cats that Dorothy brought to us and I am sure that's only a small percentage of cats she managed during her life long commitment to cats. She was an inspiration and a true animal lover. I will miss her daily calls tremendously.
